The memorial stele, symbolizing the boundary between two continents – Europe and Asia – stands in the Ural Mountains. The climate here is unpredictable – one may cross the small pass from Asia to Europe and meet heavy rains here after sunny weather in Asian part. Besides, scientists discovered the ancient observatory here and in accordance with one of the versions, it was built in the third millennium B.C.
